My beautiful truck has kicked the bucket. New tires two days before and that’s all she wrote. I don’t have money to buy a new car but I need one so I guess I won’t be eating for the next year.
- I’m not polluting the air. I’m sparing the planet my emissions.
- I’m saving big bucks on gas. That car was a hell of a guzzler.
- A new (to me) car will be nice.
- Most importantly, my butt looks good. I’ve been traveling primarily on a bike and I live out in the boonies so getting anywhere on a bike is a feat. My guilt about working out is a zero and I look really good.
The point of the story? No matter how crappy your situation seems, remember there is always something positive to be found. Believe you me I will be reminding myself of this for the next year while I live on beans and rice.
