Doesn’t a marshmallow bouquet sound like fun? Sugar, Anyone?
The little twin nieces were celebrating their 5th birthday and instead of leaving well enough alone, we decided they’d need more sugar than their Frozen birthday cake would surely provide. I don’t know why we do these kinds of things to their mom, because we really love her (We’re the bad aunt and older cousin, I guess–Ha!) so we made candied marshmallow pops and arranged them into a big bouquet. Sugary bouquets are just fun.
This was a really fun project and super simple. These are the supplies you’ll need: marshmallows, party straws, candy melts, and sprinkles.
- Insert the straws into the marshmallows. If you want to be sure the straw stays in the marshmallow, you can add a little melted candy or you can freeze the marshmallow for 10-15 minutes.
- Melt the candy melts as directed on the package.
- Dip the marshmallows into the melted candy, spread it, or use a piping bag to pipe it onto the marshmallows.
- Add sprinkles
Summary: Just have fun!
The little sugar-buzzed kiddos loved the candied marshmallow pops, of course!
